At almost all the lovely Bavarian markets, there is a stand that does this kind of wood burning to engrave designs and messages into pieces of wood or other wooden objects:

I can think of so many possibilities for this craft: personalized cake plate, personalized serving platter, or perhaps my favorite: personalized dress and suit hangers!

Signage - an Inspiration Board

It's time for an Inspiration Board! I made this one of all my favorite signs that I've collected along the way. signage is going to be a real adventure for us - we'll have to write everything in three languages!!  But I think that makes it all the more fun. Take a look at some of our favorites:
